My 2011 Elantra makes a grinding noise for about 2-3 seconds at startup when sitting for a while. I read in forums it's most likely a hydraulic timing chain tensioner. Is this something urgent to fix or is it just an annoying noise. It did that for about 2 years now. I am worried the timing chain may break because of it and kill the engine.
What does EML means on a bmw?
ReplyDeleteEngine management light - same MIL on other cars - BMW likes to use its own naming convention
ReplyDeleteI have a 2011 Hyundai Elantra with 155,000 km and dealer recommended brake fluid flush. Is it necessary? It's not in my manual.
