Toyota Recall - the final solution, a shielded gas pedal

  1. That shield looks like a terrible idea! In the event of an accident where milliseconds count, you cannot make it take longer to pull your foot out from under that shield to put it on the brake! No way!

  2. Does your site clarify how pedal misapplication accounts for accidents where a Toyota continues to catapult forward even after the vehicle has impacted a guardrail or other obstacle? Obviously, the owner's foot hasn't slipped off the brake in these cases! How do you explain these cases where the engine continues to rev at high RPMs even after a crash? Electronic system variance is the only logical explanation!
